vesna

Design partner · early access

A two-week engineering-hiring diagnostic.

Run Vesna on one real, open role — alongside your current screen, nothing to tear out and replace. At the end you get a clear read on your pool and a record you can defend; we get a design partner who shapes the product.

Shadow mode — Vesna never makes a hiring decision

How it runs

Two short calls, with two weeks of Vesna running alongside your current process in between.

WEEK 0 · SETUP WEEKS 1–2 · ALONGSIDE END · DIAGNOSTIC Define the rubric It runs beside you Walk your real pool 30-min call your process untouched 45-min readout
Week 0 · setup
One 30-min call. We build the rubric for one open role together — must-haves, nice-to-haves — and you hand us a batch of applicants (an export is fine). We set up your private, isolated workspace.
Weeks 1–2 · alongside
Vesna screens on substance, sends a follow-up question to the candidates who look the same on paper, and keeps a full record — while your normal process runs untouched. Candidate emails are opt-in.
End · diagnostic
A 45-min walk of your real pool: how much was AI-polished, where the rubric stopped telling candidates apart, the strong ones it buried, the hollow ones it floated. Plus the full audit trail.

What you give · what you get

From you
  • One open engineering req + its rubric (we build it with you)
  • A batch of applicants — an export is fine
  • Two short calls (setup + diagnostic) and your honest reactions
From us
  • A read on every applicant that sees past the polish, scored to your rubric
  • The follow-up questions, and the cases that can't be confirmed on paper handed to a human
  • A complete record that can't be quietly edited — defensible, exportable
  • A written diagnostic of your pool. No charge during the pilot.

Why shadow mode

Because you shouldn't have to trust a new tool with a real hiring decision to find out if it's any good. Vesna runs beside your process and shows its work; you keep deciding exactly as you do today. The honest pitch is: if its calls don't match your best judgment, you've lost two short calls — and you'll know within two weeks.

Fit

Best fit: a team hiring engineers steadily enough that an AI-polished pool is a real problem — and where a Head of Talent or a hiring EM wants a defensible read before spending senior interview time. We're taking the first three design partners.
